In my three years at culinary school in Santa Barbara, I was torn between becoming a baker or a savory chef. During my last semester, I was enrolled in a restaurant entrepreneurship class where we had a final project to design a restaurant business plan. I used to make chocolate chip cookies stuffed with Nutella for my family on Christmas, so naturally, I came up with a business plan based on that exact style of cookie and named the restaurant “Stuffed.” My professor pulled me aside after class and encouraged me to roll with the idea and open up an online store and presto, Stuffed was born!
Cookies make people happy, period, it’s that simple. Since I founded the company in 2014 there has been nothing I find more enjoyable than seeing people’s faces when they first bite into one of my unique cookies. Stuffed is a way to showcase my love of food, creativity, and a way to bring smiles and joy to people around me. Yes, some of the flavors may seem a little bit crazy (such as the Recess which has Lays potato chips, pretzels, chocolate chips and peanut butter, also my favorite) but I had to let my imagination shine and share my creative side with you. Each cookie is individually handcrafted to my vision of perfection with just the right amount of mix-ins and stuffing. Soft yet crunchy on the outside and gooey on the inside... Cause it’s what’s on the inside that counts!
